Grace Cathedral

I had a very suc­cess­ful shoot at Grace Cathe­dral and here is one of the images I got.  This was anoth­er exam­ple of an image which I degrad­ed for effect (see an ear­li­er post on adding grain to a Bay Bridge pho­to).  I actu­al­ly added blur to a sharp image and a tex­ture which imi­tates scratch­es on a lens, as well as remov­ing most of the col­or.   This got me the exact feel I was look­ing for, which went far beyond the sharp, col­or­ful image which was orig­i­nal­ly tak­en.   It’s a great time to be a pho­tog­ra­ph­er with all these post-pro­cess­ing tools at our fin­ger­tips.  Let me know what you think.
