I had a very successful shoot at Grace Cathedral and here is one of the images I got. This was another example of an image which I degraded for effect (see an earlier post on adding grain to a Bay Bridge photo). I actually added blur to a sharp image and a texture which imitates scratches on a lens, as well as removing most of the color. This got me the exact feel I was looking for, which went far beyond the sharp, colorful image which was originally taken. It’s a great time to be a photographer with all these post-processing tools at our fingertips. Let me know what you think.
